9.- Promo Cards and Hidden Messages - I Want to Believe edition

Most of the PROMO cards of "I Want to Believe" edition have been designed by X-FilesCCG fans. Billie Reid (fan of Mitch Pillegi) proposed the one with Skinner in pants, and Robert Czepiel added the first "Promo" being a Site. In fact, it is the first site that allows to ask two questions if successfully investigated. It won't be easy, as it requires Behavioral 7+ (it will require a big Team of Agents to ensure the investigation):

2) FIRST CARD DESIGNS / IDEAS

Pablo Sánchez chose Chris Carter as a Promo card among other options, and Greg CMD suggested the idea of having a card to perform a "resurrection" of an Agent Killed. Gregory Fremaux provided many ideas. One of them was the possibility to keep a Witness card (non-permanent) for an extra turn. Robert Czepiel added the sites already used in the equation, and so appeared the "First Elder's Summons" card. Robert also suggested to have a Promo card in polish, and we translated into that language a card created in 2008 that can work as a perfect combo with some of the new cards of "I want to believe" ("A Privileged Mind"). Who said that PROMO cards could only be in english, german or french?

Hidden Messages in "I Want To Believe" edition

As in the Premier Edition, there are also hidden messages in "I Want to Believe" expansion set. This expansion includes encoded messages tied to the names of significant characters and thematic elements of the X-Files series, with cards grouped into specific categories such as Adversary, Equipment, Agent, Witness, Bluff, Combat, Event, and Site cards. Each group of cards references key moments, themes, or figures from the series. For instance, "Dog-gett", associated with Adversary cards #349 and #350.

These messages create an additional layer of immersion for fans of The X-Files, as players can uncover references to episodes, conspiracies, and lore through the card set. Following table shows the complete list of hidden messages included in this expansion:
